I want to thank everyone who came out and supported me on this Missing Quail Crossings tour, whether it was the Holiday Tour or the Spring Tour. Your visits, kind words, reviews, and just overall support means the world to me. Each one of you, whether you realize it or not, are helping me make my dreams come true.
All I've ever wanted to do was write and with every book you purchase and good review you leave, that means I continue to do what I love. So thank you ... thank you so very much from the bottom of my heart.
The Summer's End Holiday Tour will (hopefully) begin in September and I would love to see each and every one of you again.
It does take a small army to put these books out, so please indulge me as I thank a few people:
LilyBear House staff and author family – I call you family because that is what you are to me. It is an honor to work with you.
Christina Laurie and Cheryl Trenfield – I asked a lot of you with this book, and you jumped at the chance to help. I can’t say thank you enough for pouring over my rough drafts and making them better than I ever thought possible.
C.D. Jarmola, Heather Davis, and Marilyn Boone – I’ve said it before. I’m not sure how I ever wrote a book without you guys, and a year later, I’m still not sure how I did it before you guys. This past year was crazy and you guys kept me sane. Thank you for being there for not only writing support, but emotional support. I am blessed to call y’all friends.
Brandy Walker –Thank you for being not only a fabulous cover designer, but for being a fantastic sister.
Randy and Cathy Collar – I’m going to pay you the highest compliment I know. I hope that one day Baby Girl looks at me the way I look at you. Thank you for everything. I am who I am today because of the two of you.
Anna Collar – I say it every day, “I miss you.” But I know you’re here. I know you’re smiling down on me as I work my dream job. I know you weave yourself into my stories. I love you.
Claressa Carter and Rubina Ahmed – You girls. What can I say? We’ve been friends for a long time and I know no matter what, we’ll be friends forever. Thanks for all the reads and encouragement. You two will move mountains, and I will happily push them with you.
Linda Boulanger and Darlene Shortridge – From the start you two have been there holding my hand, answering my questions, and letting me know I’m not alone in this crazy publishing world. I can’t say thank you enough.
Lynn Endres, Steve Mathisen, and Jayleen Mayes – It takes a village to raise a child and publish a book. Thank you so much for your help and volunteering to be my BETA readers. You are my eagle eyes, and I appreciate your time and support. Thank you for not only being fans, but friends.
WordWeavers – I wouldn’t be where I am today had I never met the WordWeavers. You guys keep me motivated, keep me encouraged, and are always quick to help me when needed. I am honored to call y’all my friends.
Extended Family – I wish I had the space to name each and every one of you. The support y’all offer is not forgotten or taken for granted. I appreciate it more than you will ever know. Thank you for loving me.
Baby Girl – Your Momma loves you more than you’ll ever know. Each day you grow more intelligent and beautiful. I am proud to call you my daughter and know there are big things in store for you. Thank you for being patient when Mommy’s working. You are my sunshine.
Mike McMurrain – Every morning I wake up and wonder how I got so lucky to have you in my life. You work so hard for this family and support me with your whole heart. To just say thank you and I love you seems poorly inadequate.
My Readers – I believe Janae Mitchell said it best, “Readers are often fans of authors, but I, myself, am a fan of readers. They are the ones who breathe life into the pages we give birth to, after all.” I am thankful for each and every one of you who have taken the time to read my books and an extra thank you for those who have become my friends due to them.
