Sage
released the break and Lucas grabbed onto the wheels.
“Oh no, mister,” said Sage. “It’s a beautiful day and you’re eating outside. It’s a good chance for you to soak up some rays and that way if you decide you don’t care for lunch, the dog can eat it when you throw it across the yard. We named her Lexi, by the way.”
Lucas
grunted but let go of the wheels. What
was this woman trying to do to him? All
he wanted to do was die. Silly woman
should have left him to rot in Statehaven.
He didn’t care what she did, he wasn’t going to eat and she couldn’t
make him.
Sage wheeled him into the yard facing the barn. At least she could’ve pointed me toward the lake, Lucas thought. I bet there’s some pretty good sized trout in that lake. He pushed the thought away. He was here to die, not fish.
Well there ya go, with a bonus 3 lines just because I love y'all.
I'm not going to tag anyone, because I already did that on Facebook. Thanks to Peggy Chambers for including me in the fun. You can read Peggy Chambers' sneak peek here http://peggylchambers.wordpress.com/.
